About the Artist:
Helen Dunham was born in Medford, Oregon on October 21, 1911. Dunham settled in San Francisco in 1934. She studied art at the California School of Fine Arts and with Archipenko and Hans Hofmann. She died in San Francisco on February 15, 1994. She exhibited at San Francisco Art Association in 1939, San Francisco Women Artists 1939-40.
